The narrative follows the life of celebrated orchestra conductor Thibaut, who, upon receiving a diagnosis of leukemia, embarks on a quest to find a matching bone marrow donor. During this journey, he uncovers the truth about his adoption and learns that he has an older brother residing in the North. This brother, while working in an office, also plays the trombone in a local brass band that is on the verge of being disbanded. As their paths intersect, the story unfolds into a tale of family, music, and the challenges faced during the search for connection and hope.
