Paul Averhoff used to be an acclaimed marathon champion, clinching the gold medal at the prestigious 1956 Melbourne Olympics. However, now in his seventies and residing in a nursing home, he spurns the communal singing sessions and handicraft classes in favor of dusting off his worn-out running shoes. Paul stuns everyone when he boldly declares that he is preparing to compete in and triumph at the upcoming Berlin Marathon.
