During the peak of his popularity, Oscar Wilde provokes the Marquis of Queensberry by engaging in a romantic relationship with Queensberrys son Lord Alfred Douglas (also known as Bosie), who is twenty years younger than Wilde. When Queensberry defames Wilde, the writer decides to pursue legal action, ultimately leading to his own tragic downfall.
