Sailor Johannes Blom comes back to his hometown after a seven-year voyage, only to discover that Sally, the girl he had been longing for during his absence, is now deeply saddened. Seven years prior, the unruly Alexander Blom brings his lover Sally to live together with his wife Alice, son Johannes, and the crew on the salvaged boat he commands. Amidst the conflicts and pressures onboard the small vessel, Johannes and Sally develop feelings for each other. This tale of love and longing was penned by Will Gilbert.
