Living on the border is harsh and unforgiving. The terrain is rocky and barren, and farmers toil in fields of sand to no avail. Illegal activities prevail as a means of survival in this desolate land. In the village of Deliviran, located near Urfa by the Syrian border, the village chief, Hidir, is ensnared in smuggling and becomes a target, ultimately getting shot. Despite his best efforts to remain virtuous, Hidir is forced into a world of illicit dealings due to tragic circumstances. Reluctantly, he agrees to transport a herd of sheep across the border to make ends meet. As he grapples with poverty and the constant threat of landmines, Hidir is consumed by the struggle to protect his dreams and his young son amidst the chaos of the border.
