In a not-so-distant future world plagued by environmental crises and resulting food scarcity, technology emerges as a crucial means of survival. The story of HOVER revolves around Claudia (played by Coleman) and her mentor John (portrayed by Craig muMs Grant), who diligently provide care to the ill inhabitants of the farmland. They assist their ailing clients in peacefully ending their lives as a form of compassion.However, tragedy strikes when John dies under mysterious circumstances, leaving Claudia devastated. With the help of a group of local allies, Claudia embarks on a quest to unravel the enigmatic circumstances surrounding Johns death. In the process, she discovers a sinister link between the health of her clients and the advanced technology they rely on for sustenance.
